Since I completely enjoy writing (and have often attempted to keep a journal), I thought I should start a blog to share my experiences with all those who are interested. Plus, its a great way for friends and family to check up on me and see what's new and for me to do the same.

Another Day...Another ??

Yikes - its been a week and I haven't updated this (I thought I would be way better at that - Sorry FO, I know you must be waiting patiently).

What's been going on?? Well, not too much. Last weekend my uncle Mike came back from Dallas to help my Grandpa shingle the roof of one of the buildings on the farm. I had to laugh at that because the building is so bad the insurance company won't insure it. They have lived in town and not used the farm in normal capacity for close to 17 years - but my Grandpa is out there as many days as he can puttsin' with whatever he can. So if it made him happy to put new shingles on, then it was a day well spend I suspect. Plus, I am extemely grateful he can still hop on the roof and reshingle. He'll be 80 later this fall so he should do what he wants.

I got a nasty flu on Tuesday and missed some work this week, but today I am finally feeling better. OK, so maybe its my gallbadder telling me not to eat spice/grease or something, I need to get an ultrasound.

I do have to say as Grey's Anatomy fanatic - what's up with this season? Ashley and I are struggling to say we are even enjoying the episodes (well, we are enjoying them Dr. McSteamy is in them). I hope they make some changes so we love it again...otherwise we are going to have to break out the past seasons' DVDs and rewatch them to get the love back. And to top off the week, my beloved Jason Morgan was only on ONE episode of my soap this week. ONE. They just can't do that to me.

The whole waiting for the test results of my first test in A&P worked out, well, maybe I shouldn't say that. I did fine on the test (mid-range B). But, now the problem will be that I won't study because I won't think I need to. Oh, well. You aren't supposed to teach an old dog new tricks, and I have known for a very long time I don't study so I don't think the habit is about to change anytime soon...even if it should.

And I am starting to train/get in shape (maybe if I write it down it will come true), in anticipation for the family Turkey Trot around Upper Spunk on Thanksgiving day (Great idea, Terry!).

Until Next Time....(who always said that??)

I love your blog!! It is fun to read about your life and laugh too! You always have so much humor in your writing. And, I totally agree about Grey's!

I must agree, Gray's is more blah. It's like the writers can't decide whether to write about new characters or just follow the same cast. I hope getting in shape happens for you! I'm facing the same uphill challenge, myself--but either I do it, or the Navy is going to kill me next summer. It's hilarious that my Dad helped G-pa reshingle some barn. I suppose maybe they got some quality time?? I'll have to find out on that one :-). Oh, what're you taking A&P for? I just got done with a physio test this morning. Anatomy is Wed. Fun stuff.
